2025 Longlook student Dr Eiryn Twidale Named National Medical Student of the Year 2025

Congratulations to Griffith University Longlook student Eiryn Twidale, named Medical Student of the Year by both the ACRRM and RDAA.

During her two years in Kingaroy, Eiryn has made a significant impact through leadership, advocacy and community engagement. She co-founded Kingaroy Run Co, strengthening local wellbeing and connection, and has worked with hospital leadership to support the development of regional training pathways.

Her contributions also include partnering with Red Earth Community Foundation to support local health education and training initiatives.

Now into her internship at Kingaroy Hospital, Eiryn continues her commitment to rural healthcare and the South Burnett community.
