The Considering Medicine Program is an opportunity for current high-school students to understand the pathway to become a medical doctor.
The program uses Clinical Learning Observations to experience what it is like to be a medical student at regional Griffith University Medical School campuses.
Students will have the opportunity to shadow and observe medical students during teaching sessions, clinical skills training and simulated scenarios. There is also an opportunity at the end of the session for high school students to speak with a Griffith medical student about getting into medicine, their reasons for doing so, and some insight into what they have discovered thus far in their training.
Time | Sessions run after school from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. |
