A/Professor Kay Brumpton, Griffith University Rural Clinical Subdean, along with her colleagues from the University of Southern Queensland, James Cook University and Rural Medical Education Australia have been awarded a prestigious Clinician Researcher Grant under the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) Clinician Researchers Initiative. The successful grant recipients were announced by the Health Minister in the recent Federal Budget 2022. A/Professor Brampton’s research focuses on training a culturally safe health workforce and the project funded by MRFF aims to develop tools to assess cultural safety within primary care consultations.
